We are seeking a 6-month co-op from July to Decemfor the Cambridge, MA Pilot Plant to help onboard automated manufacturing equipment to support next-gen manufacturing paradigms. The Co-op project will focus on mapping automated processes and functional troubleshooting. Training in distributed control systems (DCSs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and other process documents will be provided as needed. Additional responsibilities include cross-training in process and operations engineering functions in the pilot lab.

The position is expected to be performed remotely.

Basic Qualifications

Amgen requires that all individuals applying for an undergraduate internship or an undergraduate co-op assignment at Amgen must meet the following criteria:

18 years or older

Currently enrolled in a full time Bachelor's Degree program from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 minimum GPA or equivalent

Completion of one year of study from an accredited college or university prior to the internship commencing

Enrolled in a full time Bachelor's degree program following the potential internship or co-op assignment with an accredited college or university

Must not be employed at the time the internship starts

Preferred Qualifications

Degree concentration(s) in chemical engineering, bioengineering, electrical engineering or related field

Coursework in process controls engineering

At least one programming language

Graduation by summer 2022
