Position Summary

The Sr. IT Manager will be responsible for acting as site lead and managing Revance's Internal IT Service Desk Team. The Sr. IT Manager will also provide high level onsite Audio-Visual support for major meetings and events. As a member of a rapidly expanding company, you must be organized, focused and self-driven. You have a passion for problem-solving and seeing issues through to resolution.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
  • Act as Revance Headquarters Site lead for all IT related issues on two floors of a high-rise building.
  • Manage a team of Internal Service Desk technicians at various locations across US.
  • Help set goals and performance metrics within Service Desk.
  • Work with our external Service Desk partner to drive efficiencies through automation and escalation.
  • Provide superior customer service in supporting C-Level executives and VIP's.
  • Provide/manage AV support for C Level executives and VIP's for all high-level meeting and events.
  • Revance is building a state-of-the-art Experience Center in Nashville and we need someone who is comfortable running high end A/V equipment, multiple camera angles, microphones, audio, and lighting.
  • Triage and respond to tickets created through the ticketing system in a timely and courteous manner. Resolve or escalate as appropriate and document steps taken.
  • Advanced system administration; AD, Exchange, JAMF, network folder permission, etc.
  • Provide installation and support of Zoom video conference rooms.
  • Work with software and hardware vendors for support when necessary to resolve complex problems.
  • Provide support for network printers and scanners and place support calls when necessary.
  • Must have experience with Windows 10, Mac OS, Active Directory, Outlook/Exchange, Azure, Intune.
  • Must have excellent documentation and technical writing skills.


Education

Preferred:

BS degree in related field

Experience

Minimum Required:
  • 7+ years managing Service Desk/Support Services department
  • Experience managing live events, seminars, trainings


Preferred:
  • 10+ years managing Service Desk/Support Services in Life Science or Pharmaceutical Industry


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Minimum Required:
  • Needs to have experience managing A/V for events, seminars, trainings, etc.
  • Technical Management, Technical Understanding, Analyzing Information, Informing Others, Staffing, Problem Solving,
  • Excellent communication and management skills a must
  • Multitasking ability and should be ready to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Should be able to follow the given instructions carefully and should be comfortable working in a team environment.
  • Service oriented focus with excellent listening, judgment, and critical thinking skills
  • Communicate clearly and concisely to present ideas and solutions in user-friendly language - both verbally and in writing - with co-workers, clients, and vendors
  • Overall approachable and friendly demeanor with a can-do attitude


Preferred:
  • Managing national and international support structures
  • Run large event centers and has mastery of high-end A/V equipment and broadcast productions
