In this position our BSA will administer a wide range of cloud-based applications, workflow and data pipeline tools, providing the vital connection between our engineering and BI teams, and the business user community. You will have the chance to build expertise in several enterprise systems, work closely with our Salesforce developers and expert business users, and will lead development of related requirements, integrations, new platform selection and implementation. This position reports to our Business System Manager.

You will be responsible for the successful execution of the following key responsibilities:

  • Administrator and functional expert of various cloud based applications selecting and implementing new platforms, leading integration projects, onboarding and managing users, providing functional support and change management, monitoring data integrity, supporting the BI team and cross-system reporting requirements.
  • Platforms may include many of: Cvent, Hopin, Eloqua, Hubspot, Blueconic, Zoom, Box, WorldApp,, Slack, Tableau, Smartsheet, Asana, Formsite and others. Specific experience of these platforms is not required but advantageous.
  • Ensuring effective integration of these applications with our core platforms, Salesforce and Wordpress working with the respective development teams to build and operate integrations that may include middleware tools (eg Zapier) and API-based custom connections
  • Manage and maintain tools used for data pipeline based integrations, including CData connectors, dbAmp and custom SSIS packages. MS SQL experience is highly advantageous.
  • Work with the Business Systems Manager to document business requirements, develop technical requirements and coordinate engineering efforts around backoffice platforms including our custom membership management and portal platforms, Salesforce, order processing and accounting platforms.
  • To manage cloud vendor relationships including licensing and consulting engagements; to maintain domain expertise of competitors, emerging technologies, relevant technical standards, compliance issues.


  • We are seeking a business system analyst (or business system administrator) with hands-on experience of complex, cloud-based enterprise applications, including access management, integration, data integrity, building functional expertise and providing support to both the IT teams and business users. Example application domains include event management, marketing automation and CRM, collaboration tools, form-based workflows and project management tools.
  • You will be used to working with vendor support teams, quickly absorbing new functional domains, attend vendor demos and training, and be responsible for ensuring we make best possible use of off-the-shelf features.
  • You must have experience analysing and documenting business processes, and connecting them with applications (eg CRM, SFA, ERP). In this role you will be a hands-on user of many of the applications, with admin rights and/or configuration control.
  • In this role a high level of data literacy is required you must be used to developing reports, analysing data across multiple systems, troubleshooting integrations you will routinely use Tableau and/or build simple SQL queries
  • You will often work closely with our Salesforce developers and admins, as we use Sales Cloud as our central application platform experience with Salesforce will be a big advantage, and you will be expected to build SF admin skills in this role.
  • Be an excellent communicator and collaborator, used to working with other engineering teams, analysts, support staff, business users and executives


  • 3+ years experiencing enterprise, cloud-based software applications in an SME environment, including direct administrative responsibility, hands-on functional expertise
  • Track record of successful cloud software implementations, including experience working with both vendor support teams and providing internal, business-facing expertise
  • Experience and/or training in business system analysis, including requirements development, technical documentation, change management, project management
  • Experience administering Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud) is advantageous
  • Experience with MS SQL, query development, SSIS based workflows is advantageous
