Accounting Supervisor

Consolidated Supply Co., a Pacific NW plumbing, hydronic heating, and water works wholesaler, has an opening at our corporate location for an Accounting Supervisor. We've been a family-owned and operated company since 1928. We value serving both our internal and external customers. We are a close-knit bunch of over 450 employees.

Job Description:

This position is responsible for supervising Trade A/P and for accounting and reporting for key areas, including manufacturer rebates and inventory. Ability to understand accounting and management information systems and support technology and computer software applications. Ability to prioritize and organize multiple responsibilities; be an effective supervisor; respond well to adversity and handle conflicts; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; establish and maintain good customer, vendor and staff relations. Ability to speak, read and write English at the level necessary to successfully perform assigned responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Accounts Payable and robust ERP experience; 3+ years' experience in accounting, college degree is a plus; experience in supervising; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above-described essential functions.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and analyze complexities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet set deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to delegate and develop staff.
• Candidates must be a positive, enthusiastic, and energetic team member and leader.
• Solid Excel skills and ability to master software systems are required.
