Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a full-time information technology support technician to provide technical support for the college’s desktop computer hardware, operating systems, software, mobile and endpoint devices and peripherals and associated network connectivity.

Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and supporting the college's desktop/computing hardware (Windows PC and Macs); coordinating repairs, performing preventive maintenance and fulfilling Level 1 work order requests; and performing routine audio-visual support to the college's instructional programs and organizations, including installation, operation, repair and maintenance of equipment.

Requirements include an associate degree in a computer-related field and two years of related work experience (a high school diploma or the equivalent with two years of specialized training and five years of related work experience can be substituted for the education and experience requirements), excellent oral and written communication skills, highly technical computer application skills, and a valid driver’s license.

Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with the latest version of Windows desktop operating system and audio/visual equipment and basic knowledge of Mac OS and Windows Server operating systems.

This is a full-time position with excellent fringe benefits. The regularly scheduled hours of work are Mondays through Thursdays from noon to 8:30 p.m. and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
