Position Summary:
This manager in Technical and Assessment Services is responsible for leading, mentoring and directing a team as well as leading key projects. The team works with Division of State and Local Finance (SLF) staff to understand business needs and to identify opportunities to improve how we do business through the effective use of our available technology as well as develop training and materials in use of technology and tools. Individuals in this role will need to be comfortable with technology and excel at working independently to solve complex problems. They must be curious, engaged and effective communicators with both specialized business users and technology experts. To be successful, they must be interested in leading/mastering complex IT systems from a use's perspective as well as specialized areas like property assessment and taxation procedures and certain state laws.
Salary Information:
Starting salary will be between $29.04 per hour and $47.90 per hour depending on experience and qualifications, plus excellent benefits. Current state employees' pay will be set in accordance with pay upon appointment provisions for the compensation plan for broadband 81-02. A two-year Career Executive trial period will be required.
