General Manager
Whitestone Construction has an opening for a General Manager. Applicant must have 5 years of civil construction experience. Applicant will be responsible for calculating cost estimates, budgets and schedules; selecting appropriate construction methods for the job and budget; explaining contracts and technical information to employees; supervising construction personnel and activities onsite; developing work-arounds for delays and other problems; hiring and training workers and subcontractors, as well as making sure the project meets all building and safety codes. The General Manager will take part in all aspects of the company, including but not limited to staffing, accounting, payroll and human resources, project management, estimating, drafting, and equipment maintenance. This candidate will report directly to the Owners of the company.
