Systems Administrator
Western New England University seeks a Systems Administrator to provide implementation and support for all aspects of central computer systems, storage, and backups, including responsibility for operational procedures and documentation. Assists with the planning and coordination of work tasks.
Must possess a comprehensive working knowledge and technical experience with enterprise server and storage hardware and software architectures. Ability to install, configure, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software systems and resolve computer systems related problems. The ability to integrate various types of software and hardware into a seamless system.
Qualifications:
Earned Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited College or University, or equivalent education and experience.
At least two years of progressively responsible technical experience supporting infrastructure technologies and applications.
Working knowledge in server, storage, and infrastructure technologies.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Exchange.
Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to resolve problems effectively, efficiently, and independently.
