Vice President of Marketing
The Vice President of Marketing will lead and coordinate the organization's overall marketing strategies for corporate, nonprofit and government clients as part of our integrated communications approach. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, the Vice President of Marketing will work collaboratively with senior leadership to develop and implement strategies to broaden Vistra's marketing capabilities and client base.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations and Leadership
- Develops and manages programs, campaigns, and strategies to achieve client goals aligned with Vistra's mission, vision, and values.
- Provides project management and strategic consulting services for marketing projects and supervises staff implementing marketing programs, campaigns, and services.
- Leads team members and develops their professional capabilities to deliver customized marketing services as a component of integrated communications client projects.
- Manages, monitors and develops project schedules, budgets, metrics, and data.
- Manages and reports on project status and milestones using company's project management tools.
- Supports corporate, nonprofit and government communications teams as required.
Relationships and Business Development
- Leads company marketing services and develops marketing business growth strategies, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, identifying opportunities, developing solutions, and preparing winning proposals.
- Develops and maintains relationships with current and potential clients to support business development and ensure client satisfaction.
- Establishes and fosters relationships with industry influencers and key partners.
- Supports business development through relationship building, lead generation, industry and competitive analysis research, partnership evaluation and development, proposal development, and presentations
- Attends and represents Vistra and Vistra senior leaders at various events.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, business administration, advertising, public relations, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing.
- Strong written and oral presentation and communications skills.
- Must maintain an active presence in the community.
- Excellent planning, execution, technology, and marketing skills.
- Ability to lead projects and teams and take initiative to achieve client and company goals.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to interact with clients at various levels.
- Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
