Interior Designer II
Vida Design is hiring for multiple Interior Designer II positions across the western U.S.! We are looking for candidates who reside in any of the following locations-
Portland, OR
Seattle, WA
Denver, CO
LA, San Diego, or the Bay Area, CA
Vida Design is a full-service boutique interior design firm in Portland Oregon specializing in urban multi-family commercial and hospitality projects. We are looking to expand our team by bringing on a talented designer who demonstrates an excellent design sensibility, creativity and has strong technical skills.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with product manufacturer representatives to further knowledge of interior materials
- Research and gather materials, keeping team abreast of product information
- Assists in the preparation of documentations at all phases of project
- Build 3D models, in SketchUp, and maintain the 3D modeling throughout design progression
- Ability to learn and implement Vida Standards and processes
- Assist in keeping files organized throughout the design process at direction of project leadership team
- Participates in team design charrettes on projects to which they are assigned
- Assist in Construction Administration (CA) documentation and research
- Responsible for setting up presentation materials and documents and re-file after the meeting, for both internal and external meetings
- Work with Management Mentor on personal weekly to-do list and maintain an organized personal calendar and email inbox

Requirements:
- 4-year bachelor's degree program with 2-4 years of experience
- Technical abilities to include Revit, AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Suite
- An appreciation for collaboration

- The ability to successfully build and maintain relationships both in house and with clients
- A professional appearance and conduct with a friendly and outgoing approach
