Brief Summary of Job Description
Plans and directs the strategy, development, monitoring, coordination and maintenance of all recruitment and retention campaigns and communication flows for CRM (customer relationship management platform) as part of a comprehensive enrollment management plan focused on student recruitment and retention. Responsible for research-based planning, performing and executing campaigns, including analysis, testing, and business intelligence reporting from the CRM (Salesforce) and related systems. Manages requirements through the student lifecycle and serves as the liaison to information technology services (ITS, NU/OneIT) and CRM vendor/contractors to lead and coordinate a multi-faceted communication flow, working with campus stakeholders (Undergraduate Recruitment and Admissions; Communications and Marketing, the colleges, Honors, International, Student Engagement and Student and Family Transitions, Residence Life, Graduate Studies, UNKOnline, and others). The coordinated and executed CRM campaigns support student recruitment and retention by supporting satisfaction and success. Responsible for coordinating updates and changes to universitywide CRM with guidance and collaboration from OneIT and campus ITS personnel, in collaboration with NU system campuses. Develops assessment and reporting schedules, metrics and associated reports. Manages Enrollment Technology Specialist and Student Success Systems Coordinator and student staff to fully plan and implement recruitment technologies.
Job Duties
Responsible for campuswide direction and implementation of customer relationship management system planning, use of data and technology, deployment of resources and identification of best practices and management of CRM and other relationship management and communication activities to support enrollment management. Oversee/develop and maintain CRM-based event management for recruitment and admissions.
Produces business analysis reports and documents detailing process flows, functional and data requirements, and communicates these to recruitment and success teams.
Plans, initiates and executes campaign development and management in CRM and related systems, including governance in transitioning users to utilize CRM. Leads process analyses for marketing and communication campaigns, quality assurance testing, data analysis, business intelligence reporting, campaign management and correlated communication flows.
Liaison between CRM system and ITS staff to support and develop all applications related to CRM. Coordinates with IT, Institutional Research, EMM and Student Affairs to deliver reports of the admissions funnel and student success journeys. Serves as campus liaison with OneIT and other enrollment management teams on NU campuses.
Serves as a senior member of the leadership team to support Enrollment Management and Marketing, to direct and carry out recruitment and retention plan implementation and strategy, marketing, and resource decision-making as part of a comprehensive enrollment management and student success plan.
Oversees and directs staff, trains, documents, and recommends resources needed and continually assess/evaluate and adjust for responsiveness to strategies and activities that support Enrollment Management. Provides ongoing support to staff involved in CRM functions.
