Description
The MHCI+D Associate Director helps shape the MHCI+D program in its unique position of cross-disciplinary at the University of Washington. The successful applicant will also have an academic appointment as an Assistant Teaching Professor or Associate Teaching Professor, full-time, in one of the sponsoring units (the Paul G. Allen School of Computer Science & Engineering, Human Centered Design & Engineering, the Division of Design in the School of Art + Art History + Design, or the Information School), for three years, with the possibility of renewal. The Associate Director will be responsible for supporting the success of the MHCI+D program in close collaboration with the MHCI+D Director and HCID Faculty Group. The MHCI+D Associate Director will work closely with the MHCI+D Director to shape HCI and Design curriculum and mentor the next generation of designers and technologists.
