The Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Vermont Health Network Medical Group is seeking a Radiation Oncologist to provide care in Rutland, Vermont.
The Department of Radiation Oncology provides radiation oncology services to the academic medical center, University of Vermont Medical Center (UVMMC) in Burlington, as well as two satellite clinics, Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin, and Rutland Regional Medical Center (RRMC) in Rutland, Vermont. We are recruiting for a full time physician to work in Rutland.
Across our three sites, the group sees over 1,200 new patients each year and delivers approximately 25,000 treatments. The practice at RRMC sees approximately 300 new patients and delivers approximately 6,000 treatments a year. It is supported by on-site medical physics, dosimetry and nursing. There is routine and strong collaboration with the physicians at UVMMC. The department is closely integrated with the oncology program in Rutland and shares a modern clinic with medical oncology. The department performs standard external beam treatment as well as stereotactic body radiation therapy.
This is a Clinical Practice Physician Pathway position with an appointment to the faculty in the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont. We are seeking a board certified or eligible radiation oncologist.
The compensation package is competitive.
