Development Coordinator

USC University Advancement seeks a Development Coordinator, Fixed-Term to join its team.
The Stewardship and Donor Relations Office under central University Advancement is seeking an experienced writer to provide writing, copyediting, and proofreading for a growing suite of donor stewardship communications, that convey appreciation and impact of giving. Will provide direct support to the Assistant Director and Development Coordinator with university acknowledgments, as well as the Associate Director, Donor Communications. This position will also assist other team members with various stewardship communications, including impact reports and monthly pledge reminders to major gift donors.
Must have outstanding writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Must have experience working with various software packages and databases (e.g. Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Adobe, ThankView, etc.) and be comfortable with managing and analyzing data. Understanding fundraising best practices, particularly in the donor relations and stewardship field, is preferred. Professionalism, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external constituents are critical to this role.
