Architectural Assistant
Duties:
- Under general supervision, maintains the space information system by drafting and maintaining architectural and space floor plans, assigns room numbers for new buildings and renovation projects, and other related aspects of the space data inventory
- Generates reports related to space for justification of additional space needs on campus; maintains University building architectural CAD floor plans
- Develops and provides reports to the Board of Regents, campus personnel and off campus firms as it relates to space
- Creates and maintains current utility system distribution maps, electrical and mechanical one-line diagrams, equipment and various system schematics, system flow diagrams, and other required utility system drawings
- Inputs, troubleshoots and maintains the electronic file storage software BlueCielo Meridan Enterprise
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Four years experience in related architectural drafting work or a combination of experience and post high school architectural or engineering training totaling four years.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
