Position details: This position is a full-time, non-tenure, contract appointment with the title of Clinical Instructor. Responsibilities include primary emergency case receiving in conjunction with the other service clinicians, clinical instruction of veterinary students and assisting small animal rotating interns. This emergency clinician position will consist of 10-hour shifts (with time built in for record writing/supervision) and vary between 3 and 4 days weekly. These scheduled shifts will be weekday afternoon or evenings, with no overnights, weekend or holiday shifts. The schedule is subject to change after biannual schedule reevaluation. This will allow an improved quality of life over typical emergency clinician positions by providing a non-standard emergency schedule with the added benefits of being associated with an academic center.
