Senior Administrative Program Coordinator, Biosafety Office
The employee will provide administrative support for the Director of Biosafety, the Tulane University Office of Biosafety and the Tulane University Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). The employee will be responsible for scheduling and documentation required by regulation and university policy and procedures for biosafety training, inspections, and meetings and for assembling materials associated with these meetings. The employee will assist Biosafety staff with administrative support, including administrative management of Standard Operating Procedures and regular distribution to Tulane University users. The employee will manage the IBC database, notify investigators about protocol expiration, and collate protocol submissions from Principal Investigators for the IBC meetings. They must exercise a high level of initiative, collaboration, and follow-through in all interactions and assignments.
