The Research Coordinator facilitates operations with all activities and deliverables within the ATL AFFIRM. ATL AFFIRM is an NIH-funded longitudinal study (Project AFFIRM) of trans and nonbinary identity development across the and examines the impact of minority stress, identity development, social support, and access to gender-affirming care on mental health, wellbeing, and risk for cardiovascular disease. Project AFFIRM currently has three study sites: Atlanta, New York City, and San Francisco. The ATL AFFIRM Research Coordinator assists with the recruitment and interviewing of participants at the Atlanta site. This position is also responsible for monitoring and overseeing daily activities related to sponsored project administration, including, monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting; overseeing and facilitating meetings with research personnel, data safety monitoring boards, research team, community advisory board (CAB) and community health representatives; conducting outreach for recruitment and retention of participants; managing data analysis; and, writing manuscript, grant, conference, and community proposals. Responsibilities also include the management of the technical aspects of sponsored projects and will provide technical assistance to the sponsored projects where needed. This is an on-site role in Atlanta, GA.
