Medical Research Specialist
The Medical Research Specialist will study the interaction between the microenvironment and leukemia/lymphoma cells, in-vitro sensitivity of tumor cells to drugs, and in-vivo changes of tumor cells of leukemia/lymphoma patients participating in early-phase clinical trials. The Specialist will be responsible for conducting laboratory-based research studies related to the aforementioned topics, under the supervision and with the help of the PI.
The Specialist, along with the PI, will also be responsible for maintaining the lab integrity, including equipment up-keep, training students who will be working in the lab; monitoring laboratory inventory, ordering needed supplies, maintaining records of all expenses, performing required quarterly laboratory inspections, supervising laboratory personnel, maintaining annual safety training certifications, keeping up to date biosafety records and MSDS, compiling annual chemical inventory, and maintaining detailed laboratory records of all raw data.
