Design and implement all departmental marketing and promotions activities for assigned sports, which include but are not limited to Football, Volleyball, Men's & Women's Basketball and baseball, which are designed to meet the department's goals for revenue and attendance. Serve as secondary contact for all football-marketing efforts, while serving as the primary contact for Men's Basketball and Baseball. Help coordinate activities for all 17 division-1 intercollegiate sports programs offered at Tulane University. Plans and assists in implementing departmental special events, which include but not limited to watch parties, community outreach events, fan event and university partnership events. Oversee the marketing efforts and coordination of Student Tailgate. Works closely with student groups on campus to promote athletic events and increase student attendance. Assist with the Supervision of the Assistant Director of marketing, graduate assistants, and student workers. Ensures that all efforts result in increased attendance at athletic contests, enhanced atmosphere at all departmental events, and ultimately, the general enhancement and improvement of public perception of Tulane Athletics. Assist with all branding efforts of Tulane Athletics to ensure the usage of proper logos. Assist with media buying, which includes but not limited to, radio ads, television ads, billboard ads and website paid ad campaigns.
