Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Administration, and working closely with all School of Medicine Leadership and key committees of the School of Medicine, the Director of Accreditation Management is a professional position responsible for monitoring the School’s performance on the standards for Medical Schools as published and updated by the Liason Committee on Medical Educationn (LCME) and Accreditation Committee for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements. They will collect, prepare, and report achievement of standards in response to the LCME/ACGME requirements. In addition, the Director will provide support for programs related to accreditation, including the Professionalism/Environment of Learning Program, Wellness Committee, and Student Research Opportunities as well as additional special programs operating out of the office of the dean as needed, e.g., Group on Women in Medicine and Science (GWIMS), SOM Faculty Recognition Awards, etc.
