Assistant Director, Alumni Relations-Young Alum Student Programs
The Assistant Director of Alumni Relations (Young Alumni and Student Programs) is a professional frontline advancement position reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Alumni and Constituent Engagement (Affinity Programs). The position will develop and execute a portfolio of young alumni and student programs on an annual basis, including the recruitment and management of volunteers; qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of volunteers and other constituents; and the design and implementation of young alumni and student program and communication strategies. The Assistant Director will develop and lead initiatives that create a robust program for the Tulane Alumni Association to advance engagement and philanthropy through activities that engage constituents across a broad spectrum of interests. Through young alumni and student activities and a robust digital platform, this position will seek to engage new audiences, identify leadership prospects, and educate constituents about the case for supporting Tulane University.
This position will collaborate closely with annual fund and major gift officers, Advancement Events, and Advancement Communications with the goal of increasing attendance, volunteerism, philanthropy, and overall engagement among Tulane alumni. Additionally, this position will actively collaborate with other campus-wide colleagues, particularly in Student Affairs.
