Nordic Center:

Responsible for delivering exceptional guest service through telephone and in-person interactions. This position uses recreation software to sell day passes, retail items, assist with rental gear and register guests for Nordic lessons and programs. Attendants will be required to assist with special events, including but not limited to the Nordic Citizen Race Series and Little Vikings Kids program. Also runs Nordic center café including; food and beverage sales, cleanup and tracking inventory. The Nordic Center is a busy and high pace establishment. Coordinates and communicates with outdoor operations staff to ensure seamless, safe and effective Nordic Center operations. Must feel comfortable working in a busy, high-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional guest service to all Frisco Nordic Center guests by giving appropriate information, directions and conducts all transactions with a smile, eye contact and clear communication.
- Utilizes a variety of software to assist guests. Makes daily pass sales and conducts various sale transactions.
- Maintains a high level of knowledge regarding all Frisco Nordic Center, Adventure Park and Recreation and Cultureal Department programs, events, facilities and services.
- Answers repetitive questions, scenarios and tasks with professionalism, politeness and courtesy both in person and on the phone.
- Utilizes sales techniques to sell retail merchandise food and beverage.
- Informs guests of Nordic Center safety practices, operating rules and regulations and help to enforce these rules as necessary.
- Interacts with and maintains professional attitudes and relationships with guests, co-workers and management in a positive, professional manner at all times using appropriate language and conversations.
- Communicates as appropriate with other staff and supervisor about concerns or when assistance is needed.
- Utilizes appropriate cash handling procedures.
- Ensures the Nordic Center facility indoor and outdoor is clean, well-maintained, items are stocked and well display, and presentable to guests.
- Assists with facility procedures including but not limited to, facility cleaning, trash removal, snow shoveling and vacuuming.
- Communicates in a timely and professional manner with citizens, visitors, and Town of Frisco staff.
- Adheres to all Town of Frisco and Recreation and Culture Department policies and procedures; including but not limited to safety, accounting, and maintaining grooming and uniform standards.
- Works in a team-based environment supporting the Nordic Center and Recreation and Culture Department, the Town of Frisco, and the initiatives of the Nordic Manager and Programs Manager.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.
