Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer, Tiffany & Co. (Cumberland, RI). Responsible for identifying & implementing process improvement projects within the manufacturing to improve quality failures, increase capacity & reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling & production equipment, assembly methods, QC standards, or product design, materials & parts. Partner with Manufacturing & Facilities to make recommendations for improvements with respect to facility layout, equipment, & manufacturing product flow. Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Systems Engineering, or a related field of study. Requires at least 2 years of experience in an Industrial Engineer role identifying & implementing efficiencies with the design & manufacturing process in the metal fabrication industry. Requires green belt certification from ASQ or a recognized body. Experience must include 2 years utilizing the following skills/ tools / technologies / methodologies: AutoCAD, Pro-E, & Solid Works, PPAP, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, TS 16949, Audit Report, & PFMEA Six Sigma, DMAIC, SPC, KT, 8D, Lean, Value Stream Mapping, 5S Implmtn, Root Cause Analysis, Process Design & Improvement, TPM, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS Access, & MS Visio.
