Administrative Accounting Services Specialist
The Upper New York Conference of the United Methodist Church has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative/Accounting Services Specialist. The Administrative/Accounting Services Specialist will manage all activities related to Conference real estate properties including working with Conference Trustees, approve invoices, manage receivables, maintain accurate spreadsheet data, and manage relationship with Conference attorneys. Additional responsibilities include manage the overall reporting of church statistics to the General Church and provide general support to Finance Team staff as needed. This position reports to the Finance Manager and/or Treasurer and receives work assignments from multiple persons in a team atmosphere. High School Diploma is required. Associates degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. Three to five years of relevant experience is required. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word/other software or accounting system is required.
