Document Analyst I/Buyer
Purpose: Responsible for the support of the Engineering document, data, and electronic files control system. Purchase production components and raw materials and services for TEAM Industries
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
- Maintains Engineering resource library
- Maintains hard copy files, including archives
- Contributes to the maintenance of the finished good product history
- Oversees the availability, quality, and integrity of master prints and hard copy print history
- Contributes to continuous process improvement initiatives by pursuing, analyzing, and suggesting ideas for better workflow, systems, and information sharing
- Purchase components and raw materials to support manufacturing schedules
- Maintain pro-active relationships with suppliers to ensure optimal price and delivery
- Participate in meetings with management to reconcile purchase price variance issues
- Work with receiving and suppliers to address/correct delivery discrepancies
- Update raw material forecast
- Participate with Production Supervisors and Planners in daily production scheduling meetings
- Expedite past due purchase orders as required to avoid material shortage issues
- Match order acknowledgements with purchase orders to ensure compliance
- Demonstrate commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and Objectives.
- Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One or two years related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must have proficient computer skills
- Strong mathematical abilities
