Under general supervision of the Executive Director of University Relations & Marketing, the Professional Service Specialist 4 (PSS4) is responsible for performing professional functions using established policies, procedures, precedents and guidelines. The PSS4 will provide professional and clerical support for the Office of University Relations and Marketing (URM) operations and personnel functions; completes additional related assignments as designated by supervisor.
This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.

- Responsible for calendar management, effective scheduling and communication with campus constituencies.
- Assist with building, monitoring, and maintaining the URM budget; assist with budget related inquiries/ issues; create budget reports, as required.
- Provide administrative support services, to include, but not limited to, preparing requisitions, managing purchasing activities; and preparing service contracts and vendor agreements.
- Provide administrative support for project and client service management; to include, but not limited to, service request intake, review, and dissemination; creating detailed project work plans; and measuring project performance.
- Prepare various URM reports, to include monthly productivity report. Perform a variety of functions associated with URM human resource related activities, to include the coordination of new hires and web-time entry, as required.
- Maintain cooperative working relations with other university departments and URM stakeholders. Attend and participate in meetings and/or college events related to assigned responsibilities, including taking minutes, when necessary. Maintains essential URM records and files.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in budgeting and project management preferred.
- Prior experience in marketing and public relations preferred.
