Description:
Coordinate the daily event and set up requirements, along with food and beverage service. Work directly with group contact regarding specific requirements from start to finish, including verifying pre-arranged start and end times of functions, audio visual equipment, signage and handling of last minute changes. Creates and ensures a fresh, positive and exciting environment where sanitation, flawless delivery and execution of product excellence and service are paramount. Accountable for and dedicated to ensuring service commitments. Builds rapport, commitment, and loyalty with Team Members and Guests. Well versed in current food and beverage trends. Schedule and supervise banquet staff to ensure proper execution of event with a high level of Guest satisfaction. Understand hotel policies and procedures as they apply to the position. Knowledgeable in issues such as fire, accident and loss, theft, emergency procedures, gambling, liquor sales and consumption.
Qualifications:
Three to five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education in the Banquet field preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form. Well organized and detail oriented. Ability to read and comprehend BEO's. Well organized and detail oriented. Knowledge of Delphi a plus.
