Transportation Coordinator
(Anticipated Opening) – Required NJ School Transportation Supervisors Certificate. Previous experience conducting school bus transportation. Preferably valid commercial CDL driver’s license with “S” and “P” and air brake endorsement.
Extensive knowledge of NJ laws and federal laws governing driver licensing and reporting requirements.
Experience coordinating student bus runs and managing routes, coordinating transportation services, maintaining bus fleet and DMV inspections, and insurance pursuant to Federal, State and Department of Education.
Experience in personnel management, supervising, hiring, training and scheduling. Experience in purchasing and tracking transportation costs, cost containment.
Aptitude for various transportation, student, and fleet software management. Preferably VersaTrans, Genesis, FleetVision.
Experience in submission of daily/monthly state and federal transportation reporting mandates and requirements. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with administration, district staff, outside contractors and the general public. Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.
Required Criminal History and Background Check. Proof of U.S. Citizenship or Legal Resident Alien Status.
