Risk and Trading Operations Analyst
Sol Systems is seeking a Risk and Trading Operations Analyst who will be responsible for the operations and assisting with risk management functions that supports Sol's trading activity.
The analyst's primary role will be focused on operational activities required from trade execution to delivery and invoicing. The duties of this position include trade compliance and check-out, inventory management and coordination with contract management. The role will help with the development of risk management functions that track, report and measure risk factors that impact Sol's trading portfolio.

The Risk and Trading Operations Analyst will be responsible for:
- Review each transaction as entered in the deal capture system and build and report the daily position for the traders to manage
- Creation of the daily profit and loss of the portfolio
- Identify, assess and quantify risk at the portfolio and individual trade level
- Assist in the development of automated tools to measure risk, size and performance of the portfolio
- Improve the software and analytical tools to measure risk, size and performance of the portfolio
- Ensure that each transaction meets approval guidelines
- Inventory management, which includes accepting and delivering commodities, coordinating with the Trading team regarding the optimal management, and confirming inventory management matches with the company's contractual obligations
- Coordinate with contract management as transactions move towards execution
- Assist with monitoring of contract compliance by ensuring contract rights and responsibilities are met, curing deficiencies and enforcing damages.
- Coordinate with Accounting team regarding payments and invoicing
A successful candidate will possess the following competencies, skills and attributes:
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong interest in solar, trading and business operations
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent analytical, collaborative and communicative skills
