Solar Assembly Technician

SkyHook Solar has engineered and is implementing Solar Stations for EV car charging, micro-mobility charging, and powering rural broadband. We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join us at our facility in Carbondale, CO. Starting wage is $20.00 per hour DOE / DOQ. Work with our team to assemble these stations and innovate improvements to the designs and assembly process.

Key Responsibilities: Use tools or operate equipment to assemble products. Participate in continuous improvement activities to better the production process and product. Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness. Comply with all safety rules and strive for a 0-incident workplace atmosphere. Record and report production data. Analyze data and production reports. Work with other team members cooperatively to assemble products, including stations and electrical components. Ability to problem-solve when there are production issues. Communicate with team members process status, issues, and wins. Participate in work across departments to meet the goals of the larger team.

You Must Have: Aptitude for mechanics/machinery and electrical equipment, prior experience is a huge plus. Ability to stand for duration of shift. Ability to adjust to changes and innovations, ability to recognize opportunities and catalyze those changes is a huge plus.
