The Business Analyst’s role is to elicit, analyze, specify and validate the business needs of the organization’s internal stakeholders/staff. This includes interviewing, gathering and compiling user requirements to convey to data/report development teams, ensuring understanding of business requirements throughout the organization.
Minimum Requirements: Graduation from a four year college or university and two years’ experience in data analysis, data reporting, and data collection, preferably involving participation in the planning and management of a business or governmental program; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills:
- Strong organization, analytical, and problem solving skills.
- Technical writing, basic database and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Understanding of Microsoft Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to balance between data needs and requirements for action.
Preferred Experience:
- Understanding of HEDIS Measures.
- Healthcare Industry Experience.
