Job Summary
Develops, manages and coordinates all aspects of the Global Business programs offered under the SBDC and Global Trade Center
Interfaces with all global community partners to promote and recruit to GTC
Oversees all aspects of the Executive Certificate of Global Management including student recruitment, enrollment, curriculum, staff, classroom preparation & execution
Coordinates international business events with partner organizations.
Coordinates international business events with partner organizations. Coordinates events for students enrolled in EEP and Global Course.
Counsels and advises clients looking to import or export as a business growth strategy
Manages the Everyday Entrepreneur and Veteran Everyday Entrepreneur program expansion through outreach to additional minority and underserved communities
Manages the program details and administrative functions associated with EEP and Global programs
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
Manages all activities related to outreach and recruitment of scholars for Global Business programs and Everyday Entrepreneur Program, including the development and implementation of recruitment plans.
Manages outreach and all activities related to enrollment and registration of scholars and class execution including the development and implementation of marketing Global programs.
Develops and manages business partner relationships with local organizations, chambers, associations, etc. who assist in recruitment and marketing our programs.
Solicits scholars, guest speakers, technical assistance, and subject matter expertise to support Global Trade Center initiatives, curriculum, courses, workshops and class experience. Manage faculty training and teaching for each class.
Monitors progress of all community partners, prepares reports and evaluates activity impact through metrics.
Counsels and provides resources to clients looking to grow through exporting and importing.
Tracks and registers all prospects and enrolled students. Coordinates fees, scholarships and grants associated with programs.
Monitors progress of all students during and after course completion.
Develop and maintain an alumni system, outreach database and recruitment materials.
Works closely with the Executive Director at Salt Lake Community College to assist in program growth and development as well as grant and program compliance activities.
Stays current and builds resource databases for contacts to support Global Trade initiatives.
Attend, present and/or participate in community Global programs, workshops, and training sessions with resource partners.
Develops social media presence as part of program outreach and awareness
Oversee classroom activities, logistics, scheduling & curriculum.
Coordinate staffing for faculty, panels & programs.
Prepare reports and deliver program metrics.
Manage student and client activity and track program impact and outreach activities.
Manage program budget.
Evaluate and update course curriculum as needed.
Speak to community groups and represent the programs to stakeholders and outside parties.
Assist team members and colleagues with activities related to Global and EEP programs.
Attend staff meetings.
Coordinate activities, logistics, scheduling & curriculum with other Mill departments.
Represent department at events.
Work closely with marketing manager with social media marketing and general program marketing.
Assist with teaching early-stage entrepreneur curriculum.
Write and manage grant and grant reporting as needed and assist with grant documents & program reports.
Work with management regarding strategy and program development.
Network with sponsoring or partner organizations in the community.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in business, entrepreneurship, global business, marketing or sales.
Experience in community relations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Three (3) to (5) years experience in professional business, business development or related field
Program management
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Experience in community outreach & recruitment from program partnerships & community associations.
Experience using program/project management principles, practices and processes including CRM tools and other tracking and outreach software.
Ability to professionally and effectively deliver presentations to small & large groups.
A high level of interpersonal communication skills & ability to use social media & other marketing channels to communicate messaging effectively.
Ability to work with upper management to executive program expansion strategy, meet program KPI’s and develop operational systems required for expansion.
Proven ability to work in a team environment, manage multiple tasks efficiently & effectively.
Ability to oversee quality assurance measures to ensure program effectiveness.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
High personal & professional ethical standards.
Possesses strong planning, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Is a leader, problem solver, effective collaborator, and skillful communicator dedicated to the program outcomes of job creation and revenue generation.
Manage enrollment and facilitation into the education and training programs.
Experience teaching entrepreneurial subjects.
Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of diverse people, ability, culture, ethnic background, to maintain good working relationships across the College.
Ability to work with all groups in a diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic background of community college students, faculty and staff, including those with disabilities.
