The Roman Catholic Diocese of Albany seeks a strategic, experienced finance executive with demonstrated skills in developing and implementing financial strategy and systems.
This role includes oversight and management of financial operations, investments, and internal controls for the Diocese and its various corporations, in addition to supporting parishes with a highly service oriented approach to their requests for assistance in dealing with financial matters.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is a key member of the executive team, participating in strategic planning and advising the Bishop and COO in operational and strategic issues. A track record of increasingly responsible fiscal management positions is a requirement with a reputation of integrity and a respect for Catholic traditions. Graduate degree in Accounting or Finance is strongly preferred or commensurate experience with a minimum of three years at an executive level.
