Director, Marketing
Rogue Community College welcomes applications for a full-time Director, Marketing.
Position Summary
Creates overall college marketing plan to support enrollment and promote brand identity, development, and strategic planning initiatives for marketing. Manages the marketing department budget. Oversees the creative development, process and production of all marketing/advertising materials. Negotiates, coordinates, buys, schedules, monitors, analyzes and evaluates all media. Supervises the web strategist, communication strategist, graphic designer and call center and contracts with free-lance writers and vendors to support marketing creative needs. Works with Institutional Research and also analyzes a variety of reports and data to direct the college marketing functions. Works with and supports the president’s office for communication efforts. Works with RCC departments to support recruitment and retention efforts. Works with Foundation to promote and support community messaging.

Compensation
This is a full-time Exempt/Managerial (100%, 246 days/year) position in the Marketing department. Starting compensation will be based on Grade K of the 2022-2023 salary schedule, in accordance with initial placement per the current Management, Administrative, and Confidential Employee Handbook. Consideration will be given to related experience and educational achievement. Exempt positions are renewed on an annual basis at the discretion of the College President.
Requirements
A Master’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field is required. A minimum of three years’ combined experience in a comprehensive direct marketing department position including one year of progressively responsible experience in a management/ supervisory position is required. Experience in a multi-layered educational or other non-profit setting strongly preferred.
Any satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience which ensures the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute for the requirement(s).
