Service Manager
Our Service Manager role is overall responsible for leading the service department teams and championing the success of the ever-growing service department by expanding the department’s operations. The ideal candidate will be very organized, meticulous, customer service oriented, communicative internally and externally, able to multitask, a strong problem solver, proficient computer user, possess a strong work ethic, able to work well within a team, and have a positive solution-based approach. Our Service Manager must understand that Revelation Roofing does not sacrifice safety or quality.
The Service Manager role has significant responsibilities to include: • Answering customer inquiries as the first point of contact for service requests, fostering positive client relations, and building a strong customer base of existing and potential customers with recurring revenue to include upselling work and identifying leads for the production department. • Scheduling onsite inspections and meetings with clients, effectively diagnosing roof deficiencies, creating post-inspection reports, detailed estimates, and scheduling approved work to be completed. • Scheduling the service team for multiple job locations with prepared and continuously maintained detailed schedules of projects as well as supervising repairs to ensure quality of the work performed. • Ordering of materials required for jobs, materials needed for shop stock, and the coordination of job site or office material deliveries. • Mange the growing service department team, ensuring the team provides our customers with a positive and enjoyable experience. • Maintaining oversight of the operations to ensure the successful, timely, and profitable completion of all service work and associated administrative tasks. • Manage and retain detailed project documentation from inspection report creation to final project completion information. • Expense reporting, billing, budget creation and financial accountability, completing work orders, and finalizing invoicing for completed projects on a continuous basis. The ideal candidate should have the following roofing or construction related experience and must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position: • Ability to read and understand construction drawings and plans. • A thorough knowledge of commercial and residential roofing systems. • Knowledge of construction is required with knowledge and experience in roofing or waterproofing desired. • Experience dispatching and assigning crews to jobs. • Ability to work outdoors or indoors in all weather conditions is required. • Ability to sit, stand, and lift 50 pounds is required. • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required. • Bilingual would be helpful, but not required. • Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, access construction sites, and work at heights is required. The salary for this position is between $60,000 and $70,000 depending on experience. We currently offer all major holidays off and are working to roll out a new comprehensive benefits package within the next year.
