Director, Talent Development
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The people team is responsible for creating the systems that allow Reforge to attract, hire, develop and engage the workforce required to achieve our strategic plan.
In this role you will lead a talent development team for a company built on curiosity and life long learning. One of the most fulfilling parts of a high growth business is creating opportunity for internal talent to take on stretch assignments and grow with the business. The Talent Development function is responsible for creating the programs and systems to support our employees rapid career progression - including leveraging the content in our product - and also helping the business plan for future talent needs.
You'll be joining as part of the foundational team of a profitable proven startup. We bootstrapped to high seven-figure revenue, led by experienced entrepreneurs, and recently we raised a $60M round from Insight Partners. In addition, you will integrate into our community of subject matter experts, including the leaders who helped build companies like Slack, Pinterest, CreditKarma, ClassPass, ipsy, Eventbrite, SurveyMonkey, Thumbtack, and more.
ABOUT REFORGE

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 3 years experience influencing at the leadership/executive level
- 10 years experience designing learning programs from scratch
- 1 year experience in a high growth scaling tech company OR company known for strong leadership culture
- 5 years experience facilitating Leadership Development Programs
- 5 years experience leading a performance review cycle, including talent review and succession planning
- 1 year experience directly facilitating learning programs in a corporate setting
- Willingness to travel 3-5 times per year for company meetings, workshops, and offsites
