Respiratory Therapist - Per diem
Job Description
Per diem/on-call (2 positions); schedule varies as needed.
Job Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Cardiopulmonary Manager, the respiratory therapist performs Cardiopulmonary and Respiratory Care-related procedures under the guidelines of the American Association for Respiratory Care.
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Education and Formal Training: Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care or Bachelor’s Degree.
Valid/ Unrestricted license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the State of Washington.
Work Experience: Previous clinical experience in Respiratory Care preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Outstanding clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills required. BLS certification is required upon hire. ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required within 6 months of hire. Ability to access all patient care areas and to successfully complete Respiratory Care competencies required.
Required ability to use hardware, software, and other computer-based technical tools.
