Director of Advancement and Marketing
Plymouth Christian Academy, is a ministry of Calvary Baptist Church. PCA is a nondenominational, college preparatory Christian school located on a beautiful 45-acre campus in the Metro Detroit area serving Plymouth, Canton, Northville, Novi, Livonia, Farmington Hills, Ann Arbor, Southfield, and the surrounding communities.
Since 1976, our preschool, begindergarten, elementary & secondary education programs have been designed to accomplish our mission of educating and equipping young people for lives of learning, leadership, and service.

Director of Advancement and Marketing
Position Summary:
The Full-Time Director of Advancement and Marketing reports to the school Superintendent and is responsible to oversee the comprehensive strategy, structure, and management of Plymouth Christian Academy's fund-raising efforts that are necessary to raise gift income. The Director of Advancement will also lead the Advancement and Marketing team to design and implement a results-oriented development strategy that includes fundraising, branding, social media, and school identity initiatives. This position will provide strategic direction in promoting the PCA Brand and establishing clear goals both internally and externally to deliver annual development plans for fundraisers and planned donations.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Minimum of 4 years fundraising experience is required
- Professional Marketing and Communications experience is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years direct managerial experience is required.
- Experience with Marketing via Social Media is preferred.
- Prior experience in building and implementing fundraising strategies through a multi-channel fundraising approach.
- Must have experience in the development of fundraising and enrollment marketing programs, campaigns, and activities.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop relationships with administrators, staff, parents, and students.
- Excellent people skills, with experience collaborating in a multidisciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team.
- Demonstrated ability in setting priorities, proposing new ways of creating efficiencies.
- Proven effectiveness leading professionals.
- Must be flexible and a self-starter, with the ability to multitask and focus on key details.
- Confidentiality (specifically of donor records and clients served)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure PCA has an effective digital communications strategy implemented to attract and retain students.
- Oversee Social Media Manager position to ensure alignment of brand messaging with social media communications.
- Establish strategic vision for Advancement and Marketing, ensuring the continuity of the school's brand and logo.
- Lead fundraising efforts to ensure PCA can carry out its mission.
- Build and implement marketing and communications plans to meet PCA communication and marketing goals and priorities such as but not limited to alumni engagement, comprehensive campaign, and stewardship
- Collaborate with administrative departments (Superintendent, Academic Divisions, Athletics, Admissions, etc.) to communicate their ongoing ministry and purpose.
- Establish brand and messaging guidelines to ensure quality and consistency when implemented across all departments, activities, and school events.
- Partner with Director of Admissions, to design and implement communications strategies to increase student applications and manage prospective student-family interests.
- Manage the department budget to maximize the effectiveness of all PCA Advancement and Marketing services.
- Oversee the work of print vendors in production of printed materials and web visuals.
- Lead professional development planning for department staff members to ensure excellence in program delivery, increased knowledge, and skills.
- Actively collaborate as a member of the school Administrator team to lead and provide support for school events as requested.
