The Parkhill Director of Business Development will be the point of contact to:
- Facilitate and monitor business development opportunities across the firm.
- Lead the planning and development of win strategies for key pursuits.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities and key relationships for the firm.
- Lead the collaboration with sector identified business development members or Champions.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to identify opportunities in existing and new markets.
- Demonstrate an acumen for and understanding of pursuit strategy, BD and client relations.
- Assist in providing direction and leadership for key project pursuits identified by the Executive Leadership.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Marketing Department and Sectors.
- Assist the shortlisted teams through the interview process.
- Develop and maintain the Parkhill Pursuit Strategy.
- Monitor and maintain the firm's CRM platform.
- Coordinate, organize, and oversee the efficient and standardized use of corporate BD methods and tools.
- Lead the creation and implementation of BD best practices and the evaluation of new processes.
- Lead the development and maintenance process for Parkhill's pursuit strategy response workflow.
- Explore methods for CRM process improvement and implementation strategies.
- Develop and implement project pursuit standards and processes.
- Lead the development of training curriculum on pursuit strategy.
- Troubleshoot and provide solutions for challenges that may arise.
- Evaluate Proposal Champion performance on RFQ responses.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of five years of demonstrated BD knowledge and responsibilities.
- Ability to lead team of business development professionals.
- Desire to coach those without BD experience in their native environment and interactions with clients.
