The Business Development professional to assist the Community sector will be responsible for the following:
- Initiate, develop, and maintain business relationships with clients, partner design firms, and consultant teaming partners for Parkhill's Community Sector.
- Manages the preparation, production, and delivery of proposals within Parkhill's Community Sector.
- Collaborate with the Community Sector Director and their team to develop the strategy for winning new projects.
- Create, write, and edit engaging content that tells the story within the proposal response.
- Lead and/or support the strategy and production of presentations and interviews.
- Lead the proposal strategy meetings and strategic approach to proposals.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Marketing Coordinators, Graphic Designers, and Creative Writer to craft content for proposal responses.
- Assist the Director of Business Development in researching and investigating potential leads and opportunities.
- Collaborate with firm leadership, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), consultants, and other marketing team members to craft strategies and win themes to support business development.
- In collaboration with the Marketing Coordinators, ensures all graphics are engaging and the content is well-written and grammatically correct.
Basic Requirements to be considered for the position:
- Experience managing and leading teams or similar position; A&E industry business development, proposal development, and coordination experience a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field or equivalent experience.
- High-level Expert in strategic planning, project management, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience and excellence in writing, editing, and graphic composition showcasing attention to detail.
- Expertise in CRM, Asset Management and other related applications preferred.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and self-manage tasks from start to finish, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
