Summary: The Medical Assistant works directly with our providers and medical team to deliver exceptional, individualized patient care. The person in this role is responsible for rooming patients, taking height, weight and blood pressure, ordering x-rays, as well as entering accurate patient history into the Electronic Health Record. The Medical Assistant will assist in inventory ordering for the clinic. The Medical Assistant promptly communicates with the medical team and patients regarding any requests or patients changes. The right person for this role will be team oriented, service-minded and empathetic in their approach to our patients and their families.
Key Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills. Exceptional communication skills. Able to organize and prioritize. In depth knowledge of medical terminology, pharmacology, anatomy and physiology and surgical procedures.
Other Requirements: Previous experience in medical office required. Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
Pay & Benefits Information: This is a non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime. The hiring range for this position is $17.00 to $24.00 per hour.
