To support the School of Continuing Education by providing administrative support to the department. To serve as the primary receptionist who answers department phones and emails, monitors office supplies, oversees essential copying/printing services, schedules meetings, and assists faculty, students, and visitors with issues. Prepare program related administrative, logistical support, and correspondence to students, instructors, membership organizations, etc. with accuracy and in a timely manner. Provide excellent customer service to all internal and external SoCE customers by providing information in an accurate, timely and professional manner. Be fully knowledgeable of the School’s programs and services.
Required Qualifications:
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office. Some knowledge of customer service and organization skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work to meet deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact and assist the public, in person and via email and phone. Some experience working in a high-volume office environment and interacting with a diverse group of people. Some experience in word processing with accuracy and proofreading for relevant content and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
