Supervisory: The incumbent is responsible for the clinical direction of Respiratory Care services and directly supervises the new employees during orientation phase.
Performance monitoring: Assure current information is relayed to all personnel to include; annual review and CPR as well as competency and proficiency.
Regulatory Knowledge: Maintains current knowledge of applicable regulations, guidelines, and laws and assures staff compliance.
Budget: Provides input to the Director for development and justification of proposed capital equipment and operating budgets.
Equipment and Supplies: Assures that equipment and supplies are available to assure quality patient care.
Job Knowledge: This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 5 years supervisory experience. The incumbent must maintain a current Mississippi Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
