Required Qualifications:
- Associate Degree with a CST (ST-C) or First Assist Certification, or Bachelor’s degree in any health related field.
- Surgical Technology academic credentials must be from a nationally recognized and accredited credentialing agency.
- 3-4 years of experience in the operating room.
Preferred Qualifications (optional):
- Minimum of 3 years teaching in the field of surgical technology.
- Master’s degree in related field. Experience with distance learning and learning management systems (LMS) preferred.
- Surgical supervisory experience.
Target Salary Range: $46,228.08 to $51,081.50 Commensurate with Education and Experience
In the Spring of 2022, NMSU Carlsbad will become an independent community college, Southeast New Mexico College. All NMSU Carlsbad employees will transfer to Southeast New Mexico College during this time.
