Job Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for documenting and supporting records management for NCAA Athletic Compliance processes for which the Student Records Office is responsible, as well as assist with any other NCAA Athletic Compliance processing. Will assist in the daily maintenance of the graduate database, daily diploma ordering software/processes, and the entering/management of student applications for degrees (diplomas). Assist in the planning and production of the Main Campus Commencement Ceremony logistics which includes volunteer coordination and event venue logistics. Oversee the non-curriculum functions of the academic catalogs using the University’s adopted catalog system, to ensure timely publication of academic catalogs for all NMSU campuses. Assist with the reporting of course data for integration into the learning management system for each academic term. Coordinate and assist with creation and accurate maintenance of all Student Records Office standard operating procedures (SOPs). Assist with course and program curriculum processes using the University’s adopted curriculum and ERP systems.
Classification Summary: Under general direction, responsible for coordination of the collection, maintenance, analysis and distribution of administrative information used to produce university reports and special project reports which require analysis and comparison.
Classification Standard Duties: Assumes general responsibility for the collecting, editing, processing, and distribution of data required in the university data information systems. Assumes direct responsibility for the collection, editing, processing and distribution of several university administrative information system through a liaison role with academic and administrative offices and data-processing personnel. Consults with academic and administrative departments concerning the importance of data requirements, and aids in providing feedback information to them. Provides assistance in the preparation of special analyses and reports to the university administration and various departments. Recommends and implements new operating methods to improve data flow, collection, editing, processing and distribution. Recommends and implements new standards and procedures for administrative information. Assists in the design, development and implementation of computerized data files and information systems within the university administration. Performs related work as required.
Knowledge: Knowledge of university and department policies and procedures. Knowledge of the principles and practices of organization and administration; principles of supervision, training and performance evaluation. Knowledge of laboratory and field research; university structure and function.

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Required Experience: One (1) year of experience related to the standard duties as outlined.
