Mount Laurel Library The Mount Laurel Library is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented individual capable of multi-tasking, able to work independently, who demonstrates sound judgement, has excellent organizational skills, and can maintain confidentiality. The position reports to the Library Director.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist with preparation of payroll by reviewing time clock reports and maintaining confidential staff information and time off records. Record and deposit incoming cash, donations, and other library fines and fees. Coordinates with the Mount Laurel Township Purchasing Dept. to create purchase requisitions for library materials and supplies and submit incoming invoices for payment. Create and maintain files for recording and reporting monthly statistical reports. Attend monthly Library Board of Trustees meetings as Secretary Designate and prepare meeting minutes. Manage requests for public use of Library meeting rooms and create weekly schedule. Assist the Library Director with the annual NJ State Library Per Capita Aid Application and other reports as needed. Assists with compliance with New Jersey State regulations for purchasing, record retention, etc. Any other duties assigned by the Library Director. Must have strong computer skills and good working knowledge Word and Excel. Experience with Edmunds accounting software a plus. Experience working in a public library, public sector, or non-profit sector a plus. Salary commensurate with applicant's qualifications, education & experience.
