Highly innovative B2G consultancy seeks experienced marketing manager with background in marketing professional services to municipal, state, federal and regional clients. Ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in architecture, engineering or planning consulting firm as marketing manager, marketing coordinator or proposal coordinator with marketing to transportation agency clients, bachellors degree or higher in marketing, communications or related field and Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) strongly preferred.
Position supports highly entrepreneurial national virtual team (100% virtual office environment) with core values of client service, entrepreneurship and community. Candidate should have an orientation towards flexible small-business environment, be self-starter and eager to learn and collaborate with others.
Key Responsibilities:
Management of marketing budgets for R&D, communications, bid response and internal training initaitves aimed at enhancing marketing effectiveness.
Management of list of marketing prospects from pre-capture phase through bid submittal, selection and booking stages.
Development and execution of customer relationship management system and training/education of consultants and project managers in actively leveraging CRM to develop project opportunities and teams.
Management of production and dissemination for marketing materials, proposals, online events and web content on time, with exceptional quality and relevance. Includes ongoing social media, informational videos, educational materials, conference availabilities and other channels.
Creative design and production of technical and persuasive content, including writing, editing and graphic design of materials.
Execution of pre-marketing, bid-response and client management timetables, schedules, and outcome objectives.
Key Qualities/Skills:
Exceptional writer, editor and designer of written content.
Proficient in Adobe/InDesign suite.
Proficient in HubSpot CRM.
Critical path management, scheduling and staff coordination/organizational ability.
Ability to train and mentor staff in marketing principles and practices
Ability to organize virtual and online events, develop strategic partnershps and realize objectives on monthly and quarterly milestones.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Delivery of marketing program objectives on given budgets and timelines
- Number of new prospects added to marketing/proposal tracking log
- Number of bids submitted with high win probability
- $ of Gross Bookings Quarter over Quarter
- Number of proposals submitted prior to deadlines without notable errors or re-work
- 360 Degree Evaluation from consulting members/teaming partners on leadership & effectiveness
