The Instructional Designer will be responsible for providing departments with design support in creating effective and engaging learning environments informed by desired subject matters and goal outcomes. The role involves consulting with executives and department heads to identify goals and apply instructional strategy training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a strong understanding of our organizational objectives and create training programs aligned with these goals
Gather requirements, analyze, define scope, design, and develop blended dynamic, and engaging “best in class” learning experiences by creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer of learning
Design and develop instructional programs, e-learning materials, and Instructor-Led Training to support policies and process changes in a fast-paced agile environment
Capturing content and producing media assets (shooting/editing video, voice-overs, scripting)
Manage timelines, expectations, and deliverables with internal stakeholders throughout the development process
Support the ongoing maintenance of curriculum assets
Deploy content in our LMS per specifications set by the LMS administrator
Collaborate and build relationships with subject matter experts to identify the target audience’s training needs and build outcome-based training
Ensure that content meets application functionality and branding standards
Perform quality assurance and summative program evaluation and implement changes.
Translate technical concepts into non-technical training for various types of audiences
Occasional weekend/evening work required to accomplish training

Qualifications: Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, Instructional Design Certificate, or equivalent experience
Master’s Degree preferred
Qualification: Experience
2+ years demonstrated success of instructional design experience
Experience in e-learning authoring programs such as Adobe Suite, Articulate 360, and Camtasia for online course creation
Strong project management skills
Video creation and editing experience; working knowledge of media equipment (camera, lighting, 360, etc.); editing graphics
Scriptwriting and voice-over work;
VR experience (360 imaging, etc.)
