Work that matters. The Maryland Department of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) is a national leader in community development and affordable housing. The Division of Neighborhood Revitalization seeks an individual with knowledge of trends in areas related to the delivery of services to low and moderate income populations. Populations being served include the homeless, potentially homeless, and those seeking to move to self-sufficiency. Serving as a Project Manager, this individual will administer Division of Neighborhood Revitalization Federal and State grants to local governments and nonprofit organizations with a primary focus on addressing poverty, homelessness, or serving low-income individuals and families through the state Homelessness Solutions Program and the federal Emergency Solutions Grant Program. The position supports grantees through capacity building, identifies technical assistance opportunities, and ensures compliance with Departmental standards, as well as federal and state regulatory and statutory requirements. This position also reviews applications for project funding, approves disbursement requests against project terms and funding guidelines, and assists with the preparation of grant documents.
